’TX’ is the medical term for organ transplantation. TX Innovations B.V. (TXI) was founded in 2012 for the development and commercialization of innovative medical devices in the field of ​​organ preservation.

TXI has developed a novel preservation method for all categories of donor organs in cooperation with international leading transplant centers. TXI’s innovative proprietary technology is incorporated in the ECOFLOW® disposable preservation system in which the organ is provided with medical oxygen during hypothermical storage and the ECOSOL® next generation preservation solution.

Over 1.000.000 patients globally are in need of a life-saving organ transplant.
Less than 120.000 transplantations are performed yearly due to the worldwide shortage of organs. Only severely diseased patients can become eligible for organ transplantation. Through aging of the population and lifestyle related diseases, the demand for donor organs will increase dramatically.

TX Innovations aims to improve the quality of life of patients worldwide suffering from organ failure by increasing the amount and quality of organs for transplantation.

The world’s first portable oxygen persufflation system is designed to increase organ viability and to prolong the time an organ can be maintained viable for transplantation. Through the use of TXI’s proprietary technology, the organ is continuously persufflated with medical oxygen in a pulsatile manor.

The ECOFLOW® system is the first disposable, multi-organ, eco-friendly and low-cost organ preservation system.

The advanced ECOSOL® organ preservation solution comprises of a balanced composition of components which supports the cell metabolism during preservation of the organ outside the body.

Through its proprietary advanced technology, ECOSOL® allows for application in all currently employed organ preservation techniques; persufflation, perfusion and cold storage.
